iCLIPS is a Science Foundation Ireland funded project in the Centre for Digital Video Processing at Dublin City University, Ireland.

The iCLIPS project focuses on the automated annotation and linking of multimedia items within lifelog archives to facilitate more effective browsing and searching. (more details)

Lifelog content: iCLIPS recorded 20 months of PC, laptop, mobile phone and SenseCam activity, along with GPS and bluetooth data, for 3 subjects. It also recorded 1 month of biometric response data for these 3 subjects. (more details)

Principle research areas: lifelog creation; item linking; annotating items with rich sources of automatically derived context data; the role of biometrics in lifelog item retrieval; retrieval algorithm development; and user (lifelogger) memory oriented suggestive interface development.
